As we reported earlier Florence + the Machine were announced to play for Gucci’s “Sound Of Change” live concert. The concert was earlier today (June 1) at the Twickenham Stadium in London, England and we’ve been adding first photos to the image gallery.
According to MTV and other sources the band’s setlist included “You’ve Got The Love“, “Dog Days Are Over” and “Over The Love“. Florence wore on stage a lovely tight blue dress with a cape by (of course) Gucci, she was later seen with changed clothes in the Media Room and for a portrait session.

Florence + the Machine were yesterday having a gig at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago. “Breath of Life”, the soundtrack of Snow White and the Huntsmen also had it’s premiere at the Festival. There are quite a few videos of her performance on YouTube, including an interview by MTV that can be watched below!

CHICAGO — About two hours before she was set to take the stage at Lollapalooza, Florence Welch told MTV News that she had reached hallucinatory levels of exhaustion — joking “it’s not the good kind of hallucinatory” — which is certainly to be expected when you maintain the kind of tour/press schedule she does. The funny thing was, you wouldn’t have known it from the show she put on Sunday (August 5) night, which was certainly one fest folks will be talking about for years to come.

You must be thrilled to be on tour….and selling out Alexandra palace for three nights in a row!
It’s really nice to start touring and it feels like I’ve done the promotional tour for Ceremonials and spoken to a lot of people. What’s nice about this tour is we’ve got strings and a choir and a full set up. It’s as much of a representation of Ceremonials as you can get.
And after the success of Lungs you have some money to put into the shows….
One of the perks of the first record doing so well we have had more scope to do everything we actually wanted to do. We’ve put more money into the set this time around. I mean we’re not we’re not U2 with a space-bus-spider-thing but we’re on our way.
