A few days ago (September 14) Florence + the Machine performed live in Rio at “Rock in Rio“. You can find over +30 photos (mostly in HQ) in our image archive and the whole peformance can be watched below!
On behalf of Radiant Florence Welch, I’d like to wish Florence a happy belated 27th birthday!
WWW.NME.COM: Florence And The Machine’s Florence Welch is seemingly working on new material with musician and producer MNEK.
MNEK, who has previously worked with the likes of Little Mix and Rudimental in addition to providing remixes for the likes of Olly Murs and Tinie Tempah, would seem an unlikely collaborator for Welch, but he revealed via Twitter yesterday (August 14) that he was currently working with the ‘Ceremonials’ singer in the studio.
Welch released her second album ‘Ceremonials’ in October 2011. The follow-up to her 2009 debut ‘Lungs’, the LP debuted at Number One on the UK Albums Chart while the LP’s lead single, ‘Shake It Out’, won the Best Track gong at the NME Awards 2012.
The singer recently contributed a brand new song called ‘Over The Love’ to Jay Z’s official soundtrack to the The Great Gatsby, which you can hear by clicking at the bottom of the page, and has also performed covers of Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ and Icona Pop’s ‘I Love It’.
Florence seems to locate in New York City lately and was many times spotted with her good friend Daisy Lowe. The two of them also paid a visit to Terry Richardson’s studio where these really cute outtakes where taken at.
Florence was spotted alongside her brother JJ and sister Grace at the Glastonbury Festival this weekend. Some photos of the festival have been added to the gallery, Florence looked absolutely stunning!
Looking stunning in a dark lace jumpsuit, Florence performed on stage at yesterday’s (June 20) ”Rock On” Benefit Evening in London, England.
New photos of Florence attending “The Royal Academy Of Arts Summer Exhibition 2013” earlier today (June 5) have been added to the gallery. Florence wore a Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 dress combined with chunky sandals from the same label and a clutch by Anya Hindmarch. I absolutely adore the combination of this style!
As we reported earlier Florence + the Machine were announced to play for Gucci’s “Sound Of Change” live concert. The concert was earlier today (June 1) at the Twickenham Stadium in London, England and we’ve been adding first photos to the image gallery.
According to MTV and other sources the band’s setlist included “You’ve Got The Love“, “Dog Days Are Over” and “Over The Love“. Florence wore on stage a lovely tight blue dress with a cape by (of course) Gucci, she was later seen with changed clothes in the Media Room and for a portrait session.
Soundtrack to the 2013 Baz Luhrmann film The Great Gatsby, an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, starring Leonardo Di Caprio.

There are things I struggle to talk about face-to-face. I’m not a confrontational person. But the great thing about music is that it allows you to do talk about those things to a huge group of people. — Florence Welch
