Florence Welch was “honoured” that Kanye West attended her recent Unplugged concert.
The songstress and her band Florence + the Machine aired an intimate MTV Unplugged concert earlier this month. The group taped the show at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas and performed for a small amount of guests.
Florence was astonished to see superstar rapper Kanye West front and centre as she stepped onstage.
“It did make me quite nervous, especially as he was right there as I walked out,” Florence told ET Online. “He’s a real hero of mine. His music is incredible, so it was a real honour to have him there.”
Florence will never forget the magic of performing that night.
“[It was] surreal. It was amazing, performing and seeing all of the casinos,” she gushed. “It was intense.”Florence + the Machine recently composed song Breath of Life for the soundtrack of fairy tale feature Snow White and the Huntsman. The movie starring Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron will be released in June.
